RE: Home Printing

Go to Control Panel. Choose printer. Then choose Add Printer.
This worked for me. Choose Add a local printer. Click on Create a new port. The default in the drop down box is Local Port. Do not change that. Click Next.
A dialogue box will appear asking for you to enter a port name. Type in the \\computer name\printer name ie. My computer's name is basement and the printer name is EpsonSty so I typed in \\basement\epsonsty
Note: copy your computer name and printer name exactly, it's case case sensitive, so if you enter it wrong, it won't work.

RE: Fall Rally for GA'RVers at Twin Oaks RV Resort, Nov 14,15

jakesjaunts, glad you decided to join us again. I really like the fresh fruit idea for the breakfast. Probably should do more of that and less of Luis' pancakes and french toast, though they are really good too. post often to keep us up front till we get a sticky. See ya there. Rob

These are great as we have been doing them for a long time. We like to use the wheat saltines. Good munchy treats.

RE: Fall Rally for GA'RVers at Twin Oaks RV Resort, Nov 14,15

We have been to all three as well. Salem is far and away the best, but is spread out all over creation. Nice lake front sites, but sorta elevated so it is hard to walk down to the lake to fish. They also allow you to leave your camper in a storage area for $1.00 per day. We used to go over and take the camper for a weekend, leave it in storage for a week, come back next weekend with the boat, leave the camper another week and come back and camp. It is only about an hour away from here. Have not done it lately though.

CFoN, you all have fun this weekend and be safe. Labor day usually means just that, labor, for me. I hope to get a lot of yard work done if it does not rain all weekend. Later, Rob

let's not forget breakfast Sat. morning. I will be cooking link and patty sausage and may be some smoked bacon. We need eggs, toast etc. Ronnie and Rebecca usually do the eggs thing but they are not yet signed on. Any volunteers? EC can make a mean omelette if he will.

RE: Fall Rally for GA'RVers at Twin Oaks RV Resort, Nov 14,15

It was mentioned in an earlier post that we have a BBQ type meal on Saturday night. I like the idea and will prepare cole slaw and baked beans and maybe some BBQ chicken. They have a nice grill for our use so a lot can be cooked on site before the meal. Any other suggestions?? Bread of some sort for sure (buns, french bread, etc.) Condiments?? Mayo, sliced tomatoes, etc. Let's hear your suggestions. Rob

RE: Buyer Beware!

Kingsford charcoal has done it again. It used to be 20lb bags and then went to 18lb bags and NOW it is 17lb bags. Of course the price has risen not shrunk like the product. Happening everywhere. The manufactures are hoping you will not notice.

RE: Fall Rally for GA'RVers at Twin Oaks RV Resort, Nov 14,15

OK gang, here's the deal. Most of you know that we are not "hot weather" campers, but we have been cooped up for about 2 1/2 months or so with the 'Cat sitting idle out back, and we have just gotta get away. Wees bees headed over to Watson Mill Bridge State Park, (Comer, Ga, just the other side of Athens) this Thur-Fri-Sat night. If anyone wants to join us, call and get a res, or if you simply want to drop by feel free to do so. I am sure we can find something cold to drink (gonna try out our new ice machine) and maybe something to eat!!!
Thanks for the invite, but TS Fay will be bring rain to that area for the whole weekend as best as I can tell. Ya'll have fun.

RE: lap top

My DSL modem from AT&T is also a wireless router. Yours probably is too. Read the manual or call AT&T assistance and they can probably set you up. Does your modem have the two little antennae that stick up from the back? If so, it is a wireless router as well as a DSL modem.

Thumbs UP!! Had to use GS service twice over the last several years and both times very pleasing. Even took us home one time.
